What the job is
You will work as a supervisor for trail maintenance at Yosemite National Park in California. You will lead a team that keeps trails safe and clean.

What you will do
Plan and direct trail repair and maintenance. Oversee work on more than 800 miles of trails. Handle winter snow removal on paved trails. Build new trail paths. Keep historic trail features safe. Manage supplies for backcountry crews. Order food, tools, and fuel. Keep inventory and store supplies safely. Coordinate resupply trips by pack or helicopter.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen or national. You need a valid driver's license. You must pass a background check. You must be at least 18 years old or 16 with high school or vocational training. You may need to wear a uniform and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What you will get
You will earn $37.48 to $43.42 per hour. You will get a uniform allowance. You may receive a government credit card for travel. You will work on a federal job with benefits.
