What the job is

What you will do

- Write, review, and advise on rules, policies, and laws related to privacy and FOIA.
- Create and update privacy documents like notices, policies, and statements.
- Watch for changes in privacy and FOIA laws and update agency policies as needed.
- Train employees and leaders on privacy and FOIA requirements.
- Check privacy risks for new data collections, technologies, or processes.
- Process FOIA and Privacy Act requests, including reviewing records and making release decisions.
- Prepare reports for government bodies like the Office of Management and Budget and Congress.
