What the job is
This is a leadership role with the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) in Renton, Washington. You will oversee a team of Federal Air Marshals who work on flights and on the ground to protect passengers and crew from threats.

What you will do
- Lead and manage a team of Federal Air Marshals in the Seattle Field Office.
- Plan and direct operations to keep air travel safe from terrorist or criminal acts.
- Work with other law enforcement agencies and the airline industry to improve security.
- Serve as the main contact for media and promotional activities related to FAMS.
- Set goals, assign tasks, and evaluate the performance of your team.
- Advise senior leaders on security needs and improvements.

What you need
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must register with Selective Service if required.
- Must meet all pre-employment conditions.

What you will get
- Salary between $129,885 and $168,852 per year.
