What the job is
The Veterans Health Administration in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is hiring a Radiation Therapy Technologist. What you will do
- Give radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the doctor, using special equipment and image guidance.
- Set up and adjust treatment equipment, position patients, and explain procedures to them.
- Keep detailed records of treatments, including doses, times, and any changes.
- Make sure treatments are accurate by verifying and taking images as needed.
- Schedule treatments and manage time effectively.
- Work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

What you need
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must speak and write English well.
- Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam.
- Must register for Selective Service if you are a male born after December 31, 1959.
- Must follow vaccination and safety rules.
- Must complete a 1-2 year trial period to keep the job.
