What the job is
The Northeast Ohio VA Healthcare Network in Cleveland, Ohio is hiring a Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist to work in their Clinical Engineering Service. This role focuses on managing IT systems for medical equipment.

What you will do
- Manage the lifecycle of network equipment like switches, servers, and routers for medical devices such as imaging machines, life support systems, and monitoring tools.
- Fix issues with network setups, including IP addresses, security, and data sharing for medical devices.
- Work with other teams like IT, facilities, and sterile processing to support medical equipment.
- Use advanced tools to test and monitor networks, servers, and databases that store patient information.
- Plan and set up new technologies for medical systems and respond to network problems like infections or service outages.
- Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, on-site in Cleveland.

What you need
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Must follow VA health rules, including flu vaccination for healthcare workers.
- Must complete a 1 or 2-year trial period to prove your skills.

What you will get
- A salary between $98,049 and $127,466 per year.
