What the job is
This is a job at the School Age Center or Youth Center on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. You will work with children and youth, helping to keep them safe and engaged in fun activities. The job is open to people aged 18 and older. You can work flexible hours (up to 40 hours per week) or regular hours (20 to 40 hours per week).

What you will do
- Supervise and care for children and youth during activities, field trips, and events.
- Help plan and lead age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Serve snacks or meals and ensure a welcoming and positive environment.
- Follow program rules and policies, and may drive children in government vehicles.
- Assist with daily schedules, activity plans, and inventory of supplies.
- For higher levels, you may also brief staff, parents, and management on activities.

What you need
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- No specific education level is required, but you should be able to follow instructions and work with children.
- Experience with childcare or youth programs is helpful but not always required.
