What the job is
This is a job at a School Age Center or Youth Center on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. You will work with children and youth, helping with activities and keeping them safe. The job is open to people 18 and older. You can work flexible hours (up to 40 hours per week) or regular hours (20 to 40 hours per week).

What you will do
You will supervise and care for children and youth during indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, and special events. You will help plan and lead age-appropriate activities, serve snacks or meals, and follow safety rules. You may also transport children in government vehicles. Depending on the level, you might also coordinate activities, brief parents and staff, and manage supplies.

What you need
No specific experience is required for the entry-level position. For higher levels, you will need some experience working with children or youth. You must be at least 18 years old.
