What the job is
This is a job at a School Age Center or Youth Center on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. You will work with children and youth, keeping them safe and engaged in fun activities. The job is open to people aged 18 and older. You can work flexible hours (up to 40 hours per week) or regular hours (20 to 40 hours per week). There may be a bonus of up to $2,000 for new hires, and employees get discounts on child care.

What you will do
You will supervise and care for children and youth during activities, both indoors and outdoors. You will help plan and lead age-appropriate games, lessons, and events. You may also serve snacks or meals, transport children in government vehicles, and keep track of supplies. Depending on your level, you might also brief parents and staff on activities or help create daily schedules.

What you need
You must be at least 18 years old. No specific experience is required for entry-level roles, but higher levels may need some experience working with children. You will follow instructions and ensure the safety of all children in your care.
