What the job is
This job is for a Child and Youth Program Assistant at a School Age Center or Youth Center on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. You will work with children and teens, helping them stay safe and have fun. The job is open to people aged 18 and older. You can work flexible hours (up to 40 hours a week) or regular hours (20 to 40 hours a week).

What you will do
- Look after children and teens during activities, trips, and events.
- Help plan and lead age-appropriate games, lessons, and fun activities.
- Serve snacks or meals to the kids.
- Follow all safety rules and program policies.
- At higher levels, you may plan activities, brief parents and staff, and manage supplies.
- At the entry level, you will assist with simple tasks and help care for the children.
