What the job is
This is a job at a School Age Center or Youth Center on Elmendorf AFB (Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson) in Alaska. You will work with children and youth, helping them stay safe and engaged in fun activities. The job is open to people aged 18 and older. You can work flexible hours (up to 40 hours a week) or regular hours (20 to 40 hours a week).

What you will do
- Supervise and take care of children and youth during activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Help plan and lead age-appropriate activities, field trips, and special events.
- Serve snacks or meals and make sure the environment is safe and welcoming.
- Follow policies and rules, and may need to drive children in government vehicles.
- Help with daily schedules, inventory of supplies, and briefing staff or parents on activities.
- Support children with special needs if required.

What you need
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with children of different ages.
- No specific degree required, but experience with children is helpful.
