What the job is

What you will do
- Set up and clean food stations with the right supplies and food items.
- Portion food into standard serving sizes using the correct utensils and dishes.
- Prepare patient trays with the right food items based on their diet needs.
- Deliver meal trays to patients and report any feedback or complaints.
- Help cooks by weighing, measuring, and assembling ingredients for recipes.
- Prepare fresh fruit, salads, dressings, sandwiches, and simple desserts.
- Read and follow regular or special diet menus.
- Clean kitchen and dining areas, including heavy-duty tasks like scrubbing large cooking utensils.
- Push heavy carts to move and store supplies.
- Stand, walk, bend, and lift objects up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 40 pounds with help.

What you need
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Males born after December 31, 1959, must be registered with Selective Service.
- Must pass a background check and physical evaluation.
- Ability to work in a hot and humid kitchen environment.
- Work schedule: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with varying days off.

- Salary between $24.05 and $28.07 per hour.
