What the job is
You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at the Veterans Health Administration in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a part-time job with flexible hours, but you must work at least 8 hours per week. The job is open until filled or until December 2, 2026.

What you will do
You will care for patients before, during, and after surgery. You will make sure patients are safe from injuries caused by chemicals, electricity, or surgical tools. You will count supplies to prevent leaving items inside patients. You will check that the correct surgery site is marked. You will give medicines safely and keep records of patient care. You will help prevent infections and follow all safety rules for medical equipment.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen. You need a full and active nursing license from any U.S. state. You should have at least 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Nurse. You must pass a drug test, background check, and physical exam. Males born after December 31, 1959 must be registered with Selective Service.
