What the job is
This is an HR Specialist role in Eielson AFB, Alaska, focusing on military information systems. You will support and manage personnel data systems for the Air National Guard.

What you will do
- Be the main contact for HR computer systems, including servers and software used by the U.S. Air Force.
- Train users on systems like the Military Personnel Data System (MILPDS).
- Solve technical problems that could affect military readiness.
- Manage case tracking systems and respond to questions from managers and other personnel.
- Oversee systems like MilPDS, Virtual Personnel Center, and Personnel Records Display Application.
- Provide technical support, including security, user accounts, and software updates.
- Advise commanders and staff on how to use personnel data systems effectively.
- Analyze data to improve processes and fix errors in personnel records.
- Train and assist users with automated systems and data security.
- Approve access requests and manage user accounts.
- Prepare reports and recommend actions to improve personnel programs.
