What the job is
The Housekeeping Aid Technician works at Walla Walla VA Medical Center. The job is a full-time cleaning job. You will clean patient rooms, offices, bathrooms and other areas. You may use hand tools or power tools.
What you will do
Clean floors, walls, doors and stairwells. Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish. Use pressure washers and other equipment. Empty trash and move waste. Clean bathrooms and showers. Make beds in patient rooms. Move furniture and keep supplies stocked. Clean kitchen and break rooms. Keep windows and glass clean. Clean medical equipment when needed.
What you need
You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sometimes more. You need to be able to stand, bend and reach for long periods. You should be able to work in all weather. You must have U.S. citizenship or meet VA rules. You need to pass a background check.
What you will get
