What the job is
This IT Specialist job is located in Anchorage, Alaska. You will work for the Office of Information and Technology. Your main goal is to help staff with their computer equipment and software.

What you will do
You will help people fix computer and phone problems over the phone or in person. You will fix hardware and software issues. You will set up and move computers, laptops, tablets, and phones. You will make sure all devices follow the company rules. You will manage user accounts and teach other team members how to do it. You will also keep track of equipment and make sure computer rooms are organized.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. You need to be able to lift and move computer parts that weigh up to 50 pounds. You must be okay with walking, bending, and sitting at a desk. You need to pass a background check and an online test. You should be ready to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

What you will get
You will earn a salary between 89508 and 116362 per year. This is a full-time position. You will work in a safe and comfortable office. You may be allowed to work from home sometimes if your manager agrees.
