This job is for a dentist in Bangor, Maine. You will work at the Veterans Health Administration. It is a full‑time, on‑site position.

What you will do
You will examine patients' mouths and X‑ray images. You will diagnose problems. You will give local anesthesia. You will fill cavities and do extractions. You will make dentures, crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic work. You will do simple root canals. You will perform any general dental work that the hospital allows.

What you need
You must be a licensed dentist. You need to pass a background check and a drug test. You must be able to speak and read English. You must be willing to get a flu shot. You may need to pass a physical exam. You must have U.S. citizenship or a work visa.

What you will get
You will earn a salary between $230,000 and $260,000. You will get a comprehensive benefits package. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will have a chance to move to another VA location if needed. You will receive training and support.
