What the job is
This job is a Recreation Assistant at the Aurora Community Activity Center on Fort Greely, Alaska.

What you will do
You will help people use the recreation facilities. You will talk to visitors and make sure they are happy. You will listen to complaints and solve problems. You will give instructions on how to use equipment and machines. You will check out equipment, show safety rules, and teach new users. You may run or help run special events, games, or social activities. You may help other staff with guidance. You will do other tasks as needed.

What you need
You should be friendly and helpful. You should know how to use recreation equipment. You should be able to explain safety rules. You should be able to work with people. No special education is required.

What you will get
You will work on site at Fort Greely. You will earn a salary between $17.24 and $20 per hour. The job is full‑time. There are no bonuses.
