The job is to be a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Veterans Health Administration in Lenexa, Kansas. You will work in an outpatient clinic that helps veterans get care.

What you will do
You will work with nurses, doctors and other staff to give good care to patients. You will help with small procedures, give medicines, take care of patients, and write down what you do. You will teach patients and families about their health and how to care for themselves after leaving the clinic.

You must be a U.S. citizen and speak English. You need to pass a drug test, a background check, a physical exam and a flu shot. You must have a nursing license and be able to use medical equipment.

You will get a salary between $48,874 and $78,163. The job is full time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will work on site in Lenexa, Kansas. The job has a 1 or 2 year trial period. After that, your employment may continue if you meet the standards.
