What the job is
You will work for the GSA in San Francisco. You will help the federal government use AI safely and responsibly. The work is part of the Office of Technology Transformation Services.

Plan and set rules for AI systems. Build and test AI software. Make sure the systems follow federal rules. Work with other agencies to share ideas. Give advice to help the government use AI better.

What you need
You must be able to work with computers and cloud technology. You need a strong background in software engineering. You must pass a background check. You may need a security clearance. You must agree to a drug test. You may have to work outside normal hours sometimes. You need a U.S. work authorization.

What you will get
A full‑time salary between $117,284 and $172,980. You will get a one‑year probation period. You will work on important projects that help the American people. You may work on site in San Francisco.
