What the job is
This is a job for a mechanic with the Army National Guard in North Riverside, Illinois. You will maintain and fix many types of military vehicles. You must be a member of the Illinois National Guard to do this job.

What you will do
You will look for problems in heavy trucks and combat vehicles. You will fix engines, transmissions, and brakes. You will use computers and tools to see what is wrong with the machines. You will take apart big parts, fix them, and put them back together. You will also fix electrical and suspension systems.

What you need
You must be a member of the Illinois National Guard. You must wear a military uniform while working. You must pass a background check. You must be registered for Selective Service if you are a man born after 1959. You cannot have any domestic violence crimes on your record.

What you will get
You will earn between 25.13 and 39.35 per hour. You will work in North Riverside, Illinois. You will have a steady job with the government.
