What the job is
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Muskogee, Oklahoma is hiring experienced lawyers to work as Assistant United States Attorneys. These attorneys handle important federal criminal cases in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

What you will do
You will investigate and prosecute serious crimes like organized crime, terrorism, drug trafficking, child exploitation, human trafficking, fraud, and public corruption. You will also work on cases involving violent crimes in Indian Country, such as homicide, assault, and firearms offenses. Your tasks include legal research, directing investigations, building cases, and presenting them in court. You will work closely with law enforcement agencies at all levels.

What you need
You must be an experienced attorney, preferably with federal criminal prosecution experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. You must live in or near the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must be registered with the Selective Service System.

What you will get
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $76,748 to $150,000 per year. You will work in a challenging and rewarding environment, handling complex and impactful cases.
