What the job is
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Muskogee, Oklahoma, is hiring experienced lawyers to work as federal prosecutors. This is a full-time job in the Criminal Division. You will help prosecute serious federal crimes in eastern and southern Oklahoma.

What you will do
You will handle criminal cases like organized crime, terrorism, drug trafficking, child exploitation, fraud, and violent crimes in Indian Country. You will investigate cases, write legal documents, work with law enforcement, and present cases in court. Over time, you will take on more complex cases. You will work closely with federal, state, local, and tribal agencies.

What you need
You must be a qualified lawyer with experience in criminal law. Federal prosecution experience is preferred. You need strong communication, research, and organizational skills. You must live in or near Muskogee, Oklahoma. If you are a male born after December 31, 1959, you must have registered with the Selective Service.

What you will get
Salary ranges from $76,748 to $150,000 per year. You will work in a challenging and important role serving justice in a unique legal environment.
