What the job is
This is a full-time job as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with the U.S. Army Reserve Command in Bowling Green, Virginia. You will work on military and construction vehicles and equipment.

What you will do
Fix and maintain heavy mobile equipment like construction, combat, and power generation machines.
Repair and replace parts in cooling, braking, exhaust, and hydraulic systems.
Remove and replace worn or broken parts.
Do regular checks and preventive maintenance on vehicles.
Help with bigger repairs like replacing engines or transmissions.
Test drive vehicles to check if repairs are done correctly.

What you need
Experience working with heavy equipment and vehicles.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
No specific degree required, but hands-on mechanical experience is needed.

What you will get
A salary between $31.20 and $36.24 per hour.
