What the job is
This is a full-time job as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the U.S. Army Reserve Command in Bowling Green, Virginia. You will work on military vehicles and equipment. A recruitment bonus of $5,000 may be offered.

What you will do
Fix, repair, and maintain heavy vehicles and equipment like construction machines, combat vehicles, and power generators. Check and replace parts in cooling, braking, hydraulic, and other systems. Do regular maintenance checks and small bodywork. Help with bigger repairs like engine or transmission replacements. Test drive vehicles to ensure they work properly.

What you need
Experience working with heavy vehicles or equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues. No specific degree required, but hands-on skills are a must.
